I don't know about anyone else, but my day doesn't truly start until I've had my coffee fix. I used to be the 12 cups of coffee guys, without them I'd be a nervous wreck. Now I'm the same wreck by just with 1 or 2 cups a day.

I'm also one of those people that likes to acknowledge the time and effort it takes everybody else to do what they do. So when someone takes the time to make me not only a great cup of coffee AND makes the effort to put a little something extra into its appearance I really appreciate it.

So every morning I walk to my coffee shop, COFFEE LABS on Main Street in Tarrytown, NY (if ever you want to drop in and say hello), and organize my day while slowly supping on a great cuppa coffee.

I gotta thank the guys whose coffees I photograph every day: Andrea, Cara, Chris, Jefferson and David as well as the owners Alicia and Mike.

I used to work as a Barista before breaking into art world and I think I cld still do terrific latte art . Some of the samples shown here are just ... Awesome !

I tried 25 years of tea consumption before I switched to coffee as my main choice. In America it is easier to get a reasonable cup of coffee than a good cup of tea. They just don't understand tea.
